Why choose Keywin Road Bike Pedals
KEYWIN for POWER
Lightweight: Both KEYWIN pedals impress by way of slimline design revolving around the injection moulded body. By comparison of weight: (NOTE- weight INCLUDES cleat and hardware)
- KEYWIN KC850 Ti (Titanium axle): 135 grams.
- KEYWIN KC850 Cr (Cromoly / Steel axle): 157 grams.
- KEYWIN KT720 Ti (Titanium axle): 149 grams
- KEYWIN KT720 Cr (Cromoly / Steel axle): 171 grams
Cleat to Pedal connection: KEYWIN has a significantly large platform connection between Cleat and Pedal. Whilst today’s Carbon soled shoe provides excellent support, the additional stiffness provided by the extra-large Cleat gives 100% power transfer from Leg through to Crank.
KEYWIN for COMFORT
CRM (Controlled Radial Movement) design: KEYWIN pioneered the ability of pedals to float (the ability of the pedal to rotate freely inward and outward). The pedals have the unique ability to regulate that float to stiffen / loosen to preference. Float is adjusted on the pedal itself rather than having a specific cleat. The cleats, with large fixing holes, give the Cyclist the ability to adjust cleat position to suit their riding style. The result is an extremely comfortable ride.
Low stack height: The KEYWIN pedals both have extremely low stack heights. The KC850 is 14mm, the KT720 is 17mm. A lower stack height places your foot closer to the pedal axle, allowing better aerodynamics and potentially leading to a more efficient and stable pedal stroke. With KEYWIN Stack Adjusters (sold separately), the Cyclist has the ability to adjust pedal stack height and/or cleat angle individually on the pedal to provide perfect fit.
